Frequently asked questions about sheet metal fabrication
Do you also make one-offs and small batches?
Yes. We manufacture from prototype and one-off through small batches to full production runs. Quick tool changing on the press brakes makes small quantities economical too.
Which materials and sheet thicknesses do you process?
Most often steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, spring steel and hot-rolled sheet – but we are not tied to those: if your part needs a different material, we source it. On the laser we cut steel, stainless steel and aluminium up to 25 mm and copper up to 10 mm.
What is the maximum sheet format?
The largest format is 4 × 2 m on the TruLaser 3040 fiber. Parts up to around 4 m long are bent on the TruBend 5230 with 230 tonnes of press force.
Which file formats do you need?
We take DXF and DWG data straight from your CAD system. For a quote request we also accept PDF, STEP, IGES, JPG and PNG, up to five files of 10 MB each.
How quickly will I receive a quote?

Which process steps do I get from a single source?
CAD design, laser cutting, punching, bending, plate rolling, welding, deburring and sandblasting, all in our own workshop in Diepoldsau.
Do you also work for customers in Liechtenstein, Austria and Germany?
Yes. Our catchment area covers the Rhine Valley, eastern Switzerland and the canton of St. Gallen as well as Liechtenstein, Vorarlberg and southern Germany.
