Process step
Laser cutting of sheet metal up to 25 mm
Cutting is the first step in any sheet metal fabrication. On two fibre lasers of 6000 watts each we cut steel, stainless steel and aluminium up to 25 mm and copper up to 10 mm, in formats up to 4 × 2 m. The workpieces have excellent edge quality and are usually ready for assembly.
Our laser cutting machines
Trumpf TruLaser 5030 fiber (L68)
- Working area 3 x 1.5 m
- Laser power 6000 watts
- Steel up to 25 mm, stainless steel up to 25 mm, aluminium up to 25 mm, copper up to 10 mm
Linear drive technology combined with a 6000 watt laser makes this machine highly productive and economical.

We process steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, spring steel and hot-rolled sheet, in thin and thick gauges alike (sheet thickness by material) – and on request any other material your part calls for. We manufacture from prototype and one-off through small batches to full production runs, directly from your DXF or DWG data if you have it. Where a thin part needs many identical cut-outs or formings, the punch-laser combination is usually more economical, and we will tell you which process suits your part. Bending, welding and deburring then follow in the same workshop in Diepoldsau.
