Contract manufacturing

Contract manufacturing: sheet metal parts to drawing

You send us the drawing, we deliver the finished part. As a contract manufacturer we handle the whole of the sheet metal work in our own workshop, from data preparation through cutting and forming to welding and surface finishing.

How an order runs

1. Enquiry with drawing

Send us your documents as DXF, DWG, STEP, IGES or PDF. A sketch or a photo is enough for a first assessment. Tell us the material, sheet thickness, largest dimension and quantity.

2. Quote

We check the data against our machine park and come back to you, usually within one to two working days, with a non-binding quote.

3. Data preparation

DXF and DWG data goes straight to the machine programming systems. Where needed we produce the flat pattern and the bending programme in Trumpf Boost or AutoCAD.

4. Manufacturing and delivery

Cutting, forming, welding and finishing all run in the same workshop. You have one point of contact for the whole part and do not have to coordinate an assembly across several suppliers.

Industries we manufacture for

Machine and plant engineering

Machine parts, cladding and frames in steel and stainless steel, from a single part to a production run.

Apparatus engineering

Apparatus and containers, welded and surface finished in our own workshop.

Electrical and control cabinet construction

Housings and mounting plates with extrusions, threads and embossings from the punch-laser combination.

Construction and architecture

Cladding, bent profiles and sheet metal blanks for facades and interior fit-out.

Signage and shopfitting

Supports, frames and housings for signage and illuminated advertising.

Other industries

This list is not exhaustive. What matters is the material, sheet thickness and geometry rather than the industry, so send us your drawing.

What we cover in our own workshop

Laser cutting on two fibre lasers of 6000 watts each: steel, stainless steel and aluminium up to 25 mm, copper up to 10 mm, formats up to 4 × 2 m. Punching and laser cutting in a single operation on the TruMatic 7000. Bending on three TruBend presses up to 4 m long and 230 tonnes of press force, with an angle sensor that keeps angles consistent across varying sheet batches. Plate rolling up to 700 N/mm² tensile strength. Welding by hand using electric, MAG, TIG and MIG processes, plus spot, stud and laser welding. Surfaces by wide-belt grinding up to 1350 mm working width, vibratory grinding and sandblasting.
We process steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, spring steel and hot-rolled sheet, and on request any other material – tell us what your part needs and we source it. We manufacture from prototype and one-off through small batches to full production runs, for customers in the Rhine Valley, eastern Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Vorarlberg and southern Germany. If your part falls outside these limits we will say so and work out an alternative with you.
