Bending and folding of sheet metal

After cutting, components take their final shape through bending and folding. On three TruBend presses we bend parts up to 4 m long with up to 230 tonnes of press force, from the simple profile to the complex precision part.

Our press brakes

Trumpf TruBend 5230

  • 4 m length, 230 tonnes press force
  • ACB angle sensor (measurement & control of bending angles)
  • Quick tool change system
  • Extremely large working clearance

Trumpf TruBend 7036

  • 1.05 m length, 36 tonnes press force
  • ACB angle sensor (measurement & control of bending angles)
  • Quick tool change system
  • Extremely large working clearance

Trumpf TruBend 5085

  • 2.7 m length, 85 tonnes press force
  • ACB angle sensor (measurement & control of bending angles)
  • Quick tool change system
All three presses use the ACB angle sensor, which measures the bend angle during the operation and corrects it. Angles therefore stay consistent even across varying sheet batches. Quick tool changing makes small quantities economical; the TruBend 7036 is built for small parts and the TruBend 5230 for long ones. Plate rolling runs on a three-roll machine for material up to 700 N/mm² tensile strength. We bend what we cut ourselves, so cutting and forming stay in one pair of hands.
